The 2.0 release isn’t just a new wallet. It is a better way to move money. This new generation of SmartCash decentralizes every single system.

Services will be decentralized.

We worked hard to change everything. We started reducing all costs. Centralization means high costs. High costs generate dumps to cover costs. Costs are paid in fiat, which makes it even worse with high expenses. Going forwards, we look forward to a platform with minimal ongoing costs and a maximum utility for users and 3rd parties.

SAPI enables decentralization.

SAPI is an application layer that runs inside the node wallet, which stores the entire blockchain.

You may already be using the node wallet and have the pain of syncing the blockchain every time it is opened. Instead of depending on every wallet to store the blockchain, we added a server on the node wallets to give that information to light wallets and other applications. So where are the SAPI servers?

If you are running a SmartNode, then you are hosting a SAPI server.

Including the SAPI server to SmartNodes did require SmartNodes to upgrade RAM and disk space and allow an additional communications port, but we believe the benefit is putting the grunt work on the SmartNodes to make communicating with 3rd party and light wallets easy.

Nodes are not made to help any hosting company, but to help our network to run!

SmartHub is the fastest way to use SmartCash!

SmartHub will be a wallet where you don’t need to sync the blockchain. The wallet is based on ElectronJS technology, which makes it very easy to port to all operating systems, including mobile devices.

Isn’t that like the Electrum wallet? Electrum clients need Electrum servers running special software along with a full node with ssl encryption. It is prone to attacks on the servers and requires updates on clients and servers on every new network update.

SmartHub, on the other hand, depends on SmartNodes. That is not a problem since SmartCash has more than 500 active SmartNodes. It also can run on a local node wallet you are running yourself.

You will never need to sync the blockchain with SmartHub, and private keys will never be exposed online. Actually, any message will be signed offline and only broadcasted to the network. You can even copy the raw transaction and broadcast yourself.

It all happens on your own device!

New SAPI Explorer!

We created a decentralized explorer to use the SAPI, which can start and sync in just a few minutes compared to almost a full day with the old indexing method. The initial version uses just one SAPI node, but the later versions will distribute calls to different SmartNodes.

Web site is now open-source!

We created an open-source website using GitHub pages. Now anyone from the community can contribute directly to our repository.

BusyBee.Auction is released!

A new concept of tasks was released this year where people work, deliver, and get paid in crypto for their contributions.

This is very simple. You see a task, submit a bid. If you win, then you start remote work, deliver and receive crypto. This is brilliant!

Give to it a try: https://busybee.auction
